Background
The client was referred to Xcel Energía by a previous customer.
Following this, we arranged a free on-site consultation to assess the property and understand the client’s energy usage. During our visit, the client expressed a desire to reduce their €250 monthly electricity bill. Rising energy costs were a major concern, and they were looking for a solution that would significantly reduce their long-term outgoings. The client was also interested in integrating an EV charger as part of the installation to support an upcoming electric vehicle purchase.
As the property featured a flat roof, the client was also concerned about maintaining a discreet aesthetic. The system design and installation needed to ensure low visual impact from surrounding buildings and neighbours.

Installation
Our initial survey projected a dramatic reduction in the client’s monthly energy bill – from €250 down to just €20. The client was eager to move forward with the installation, given the projected return on investment within three years.
We installed 18 Longi BiFacial 615W solar panels on the property’s flat roof, along with a 30kW Growatt solar battery for high-capacity storage. The battery was sized to store sufficient energy to cover both residential and holiday use throughout the year.
Due to the client’s request for a discreet installation, we used flat-mount racking designed for low-profile visibility and aesthetic harmony. The addition of a Livoltek EV charger also enabled the client to take the next step and purchase a new electric vehicle, powered entirely by their solar setup.
Results
The client is now enjoying over 90% savings on their electricity bills, averaging just €20 a month. With the solar system already delivering excellent returns, they are on track to recoup the full investment in under three years.
