My name is Martin Hill (left). After running a successful hotel business in the Canary Islands, I retired to the Costa Blanca. I always planned to go solar and reduce my cost of living – but quickly ran into the same challenges most expats face: Who could I trust? What’s the best solar choice?
That’s when I found Mariposa Energía, the only British-run solar company in Spain with in-house installers, post-installation support and their own electricity deals.
After seeing my own savings grow, I started helping friends and neighbours through the process.
Before I knew it I was out of retirement and a solar ambassador for Mariposa Energía representing Murcia, Alicante & Valencia.
