Background
The client came to Xcel Energía through a personal referral. We arranged a free on-site solar assessment and consultation at their family home in Los Montesinos, next to Torrevieja.
During our consultation, the client expressed frustration over their rising energy costs, averaging around €300 per month. Their main goal was to reduce energy consumption and increase efficiency throughout the year. There were no special installation requirements for this property, allowing us to design an optimised and straightforward solar solution.

Installation
We installed 14 high-efficiency JA Solar 460W panels, paired with a 10kW SAJ battery. This setup was designed to maximise solar production and store excess energy for night-time or high-demand use.
The installation was carried out on a standard residential roof without complications, ensuring a clean and efficient fit with minimal visual impact. The setup allows the client to use more energy during peak times, including air conditioning in summer and heating in winter, without increasing their electricity bill.
Results
The client now pays just €20 a month for electricity, a 93% reduction from their previous average. The new system has not only slashed their bills but also enabled greater comfort in the home, with increased energy usage for cooling and heating without concern. They expect the system to pay for itself within three years through energy savings.
